It features a 3 layer stainless steel heat exchanger,consisting of about 75 feet of pipe in direct contact with the fire for maximum heat transfer. Instantly heats the water by 4-7 degrees with full flow. Able to heat a 20,000 gallon pool by 1 full degree per hour with a good hot steady fire. This unit is twice as fast as the medium copper style.Will handle up to 60-70 GPM and put out up to 175,000 BTU's
